So often we find ourselves caught up in the tyranny of the urgent – a hyper focus on what is screaming at us to do right this very second over and over again — that we miss the opportunity to guide our children to help them grow into their absolute best selves. Remember also the tips in our previous topics in this series to: settle yourself, settle the children, learn to be more flexible, have empathy for your children, take time to laugh, and show your children that you have compassion for them.
